Low-Poly Portrait
As the artist of this piece, my main objective was to create a portrait of a person, using only triangles. The tools I primarily used for this project are the polygonal lasso tool and the pencil tool. Using Photoshop Actions, I was able to make the process of creating my portrait faster. I was able to create more detail in the facial features by zooming in on the original picture. Some challenges I faced in making this picture is making the triangles and getting the colors to match correctly. I feel as if I successfully because I made triangles of varying size, to distinguish the details from each other. For example, the triangles in the eyes are very small and detailed, whereas the ones in on her face are not as detailed.
